Responsibilities: Sr Contracting & procurement representative for Maintenance/Operations
This role will be accountable for the delivery of CP materials & services maintenance strategy, Contract Management of the agreements developing and implementing strategies to ensure contract?s success. In addition, the individual will have interaction with key business leaders, and senior management levels in plant organizations, specific to Maintenance. More specifically the individual will be expected to perform the following:
? Execute / Manage day to day support to Plant 3rd party material and specially services needs
? Develop documented CP end to end strategy & plan (includes completion of CRB submittals & CP end-end plan)
? Contract management of any assigned material/service contracts
Create purchase orders for identified long lead items
? Manage and execute bid packages and commercial bids
? CP focal point to designated plant maintenance teams, including securing a CP event satisfaction rating for each event
? Create value identification and documentation for your major maintenance events
? Assist in the development of business cases and associated integrated strategies and support implementation plans to leverage global / zonal spend and deliver value improvements
? Use experience and expert knowledge to assist the team in the evaluation of different approaches and local circumstances to develop more effective ways of managing spend which can be practically implemented
? Ensure compliance with established procurement strategies, agreements, policies and procedures covering the identified service families
? Responsible for the execution of sourcing strategy workshops and subsequent implementation of defined strategies
? Develop contract management plans for key material & service contracts
? Provide a conduit between Shell and Contractors for the resolution of conflicts and issues
? Other projects related to blue print, lean and process improvement. Take on Special Improvement Projects related to CP
? Must carry On call pager 24*7 (on rotation duties) and respond effectively on CP support to client needs
Requirements:
? Strong commercial skills (contracting, tendering (e.g., online bidding), negotiation, contract management, supplier development/performance improvement for service & material contracts
? Good relationship management skills
? Previous manufacturing experience (specifically with Turnarounds or projects) is an asset
? Experience of strategic sourcing (demand analysis, market analysis, strategy formulation)
? Experience of Supply Chain Analysis desirable
? Well organized and able to manage competing priorities
? Effectively participate in a cross business / cross functional teams
? Engage and elicit the support of locations / key stakeholders (understand the needs, get compliance)
? Influence the business processes to enable more value to be delivered from spend
? Ability to develop and present sound business cases to senior leadership in support of planned strategies
? Demonstrate the value improvements delivered
? Ability to work across ERP?s and various IT tools
? 7+ years experience in Contract Management for services in maintenance/operations
? Certifications are considered an asset, but not required (CPP, PMAC, ISM, etc.)
? Business or other degree is considered an asset
