2nd Assistant Store Manager

Canada Safeway Limited requires an experienced 2nd Assistant Manager for Fort McMurray.
You will be responsible for all aspects of the day to day operations including: customer service, hiring, training, merchandising, budgeting and planning. You will have management experience in a retail field and possess excellent communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills. Previous retail management experience is an asset. A variety shifts including weekends.

? A High School Diploma (or Equivalent) and a combination of four years post-secondary education and/or retail experience is required.
? Retail Grocery experience an asset.
? Proficient customer service and supervisory skills
? Solid understanding of overall store operations
? Strong Leadership skills
? High degree of initiative and sense of urgency
? Available to work flexible hours (am/pm shift)
? Ability to work independently and in a team
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
? Assist with implementing Division Grocery Merchandising programs.
? Ordering and minimizing out-of-stocks.
? Presentation of the department.
? Provide excellence in world-class customer service.
